I guess so. Kinda sucks that you can set the ride height lower than what their struts can handle???

I'm really low, about 2-2.5 inches off the ground. I have the springs just sitting on the torsion beam perches. Locking collars and base removed. I have maybe 3000 miles on them.

Yea Tan I just got them in July and I installed them on 8/02. I'm almost positive it will be replaced and covered. I've been working with Megan and they have seen all these pics too and haven't said anything about not being under warranty. They have been really nice and Helpful.

Update: Megan is willing to replace my strut but they are out of stock. Only full kits are available and in low quantity so they do not want to break one apart. I may have to wait up to 2 months for them to get in stock and then shipping...

I would've thought the fronts blew but seeing your pics, it's the rear!
Be honest now, you were doing the dirty in the back seat with someone, right?
Fair to say that it wasn't just the struts that blew...
:P

Haha you need to go visit Dog with those investigative skills lol

I think the higher rate springs on the front take a lot of stress off of the struts in the front whereas the rear rate is pretty low thus putting a lot of stress on the strut, especially when I am running springs right on the torsion beam. With that low of a rate, the struts were just not made to support that drop.

After all my negative comments toward air rides, I bet you're lauging lol

just get some different shocks, i have looked into many and e46 bmw rears are the same size as yaris shocks, i personally have function form type 2 rear shocks. if you dont want to wait months for the yaris specific megans to get in there are lots of other alternatives.

Maybe we can help move things a little faster for you. Please call on Monday if you haven't contacted us already.

I really want to avoid paying that much out of pocket to resolve this.
