Hi all

Complete noobie when it comes to ev mode and its features

Can anyone help me with the following

I have a Yaris design 2024 model

When I click the ev mode button I get ev battery low

I spoke to the garage about how to charge this battery as the display shows half full and they said leave engine running whilst sat on the drive and turn the fans on this should charge it, however it doesn’t seem to charge

• How can I tell if it is charging?
• What is the best proven way to recharge?
• How does ev mode work
• How long should ev mode last / limits / when to use / benefits

Any advice would be much appreciated as I was told it’s a garage job if the ev battery actually dies,
