windshield warning light...?
red warning (?) light indicator on the small ball set into the windshield vent, drivers side - anyone know what it means? (2009 Yaris hatchback) - bought the car used & have no owners manual; also not using Windows, so can't download the manual at this time...:

That is the engine immobilizer indicator. It just flashes when the car is off to warn people that you have an alarm or sorts.
On the owners portion of the Toyota website you can download the owners manual.
