lowest spring drop
hey everyone its been a wile since i checked out the forum and did some searching around but couldnt find a any answers.
im currently running a tein s.techs springs with tokico blues on my hb. i love it but not as much as a bigger drop. im basicly lowered 2 inches and im wondering if anybody has found a spring thats 2.5+ drop. i really dont wanna go the coilover rout cuz its too expensive. but im definatly all ears for opinions and suggestions thanks. |

:) a bit of research is all it takes to find DROPZONE makes 2inch springs that I hear setlle way past that......

^ If the spring rate on those isn't very high, you'll bottom out and have other problems. LOW springs should be STIFF springs.

I've also read that the Tokico Blues don't hold up as well on low springs....anything more than 1.75" - 2". Maybe Garm can spread some light about this?

^I've heard the same. Reds handle drops much better than Blues.

Just save up for coilovers. Set some money aside and wait until you have enough for some that you like. |

You're absolutely right! Get coilovers. They cost a bit more, but at least you can adjust them to your liking. U don't want to be stuck with a car that's too low and a road that's too bumpy.

yea i would do coilovers but im planning on retireing from the yaris scene next spring iv had the car 5 years its time to move on to somthing more fun and exilerating. i do have to say with my current suspension setup my buddys 06 evo mr cant even hang with me in the twisties :D... depending on my finances spring time if i have enouph to get another and keep the yari i will.
