They have kits for 2005 onwards.

Basically it keeps the drum functionality for the ebrake only and uses a caliper for the braking.

Very interesting! In the comments, someone asked if they could do this kit for the 2nd generation. Their response was:

"As our understanding, Yaris is all the same through different generation.
Please refer to our website, check the installation guide for Yaris.
If the bolt of the hub is the same, they should be all the same".
