All,
Thanks to all who have put so much effort into testing this mod. I performed the two switch mod to my wife's 07 Yaris HB with automatic trans. I used a single 670 Ohm resistor, ran the ECM wire on the passenger side through the fire wall where the rear window wash tube goes through and used the ground on the driver's side kick panel. I set up the switches for the two switch mode and before I drilled any holes, I soft wired everything in place and took a test drive. I could not keep myself from laughing as Dr. Frankenstein must have done... "It's alive! It's alive! I have Cruise Control for less than $10!!! Halleluhah!!!" Thanks to all for their testing and effort. The entire install took a couple hours but I was very careful about dealing with the ECM connector and the wire routing. Best of luck to all who give this a shot. It is well worth the effort. Nothing like an economy car with some of the whistles and bells of the high dollar land yachts. Best Regards, Wyo |
