It's nothing special and looks similar to the surface of a Parkerized gun.

The very fine stainless steel beads shot peen the aluminium and compress it, making it resistant to oil stains and fingerprints. The surface has a strange silky feel to it. And notice that surface imperfections of the rough casting are unaltered because no material is removed, just compressed. I intially tried blasting with plain sand but the angular grains left an open pored surface that readily stained even from skiin oil when touched. Whereas the bead blasted surface will look the same even years later.
