I started measure at stock springs installed. I measured over a few months.
I went from a known spot on a level floor to the bottom of the fender lip, with a tape measure. So mine went from stock height to 1.8 inches lower from stock measurement. |

That is one hell of a lot of settling for a spring with a published drop of 1 inch.

Yea in fact it dropped more than my partner initially wanted, shes still a bit iffy on it.
195 60 15 barely fit.. |

I personally know two people who ran Prokit. Drop never moved much from 1 inch spec. Are you sure they are Prokit. Black springs?

Thanks for all the advice. I puchsed the TRD spings from trdsparks.
They arrived yesterday. I put them on. I am pleased with ride. They are not as low as I would like, but they will do for the time being. Next change is exhaust. Anyone selling their Thunder Axle back? If so, send me an IM. Last edited by dallas_mike; 03-13-2011 at 09:49 AM. |
