I have one Contour dedicated to this task, with a permanent slide-on mount on the dash for it. It's a dash camera, not a "sports camera". And guess what? It's VERSATILE. I can slide it off, put it in my pocket, and use it for a hundred things a dash cam cannot be used for. So before you go flaming and calling names, consider that the world is a lot bigger than the one YOU live in, "idiot". I will now go report myself.
