hello and welcome to the Yaris world. hopefully you find one soon and start enjyoing the benefits of the car.
fisrt of all the engine is a 1.5L dohc engine-coded 1NZ-FE. and yes it is the same as the XA and XB. You can find more info on the DIY section under the Service Manual. the engine parts are speicfic to the models so so some may work but other may not. ZPI is one of the vendors on this website that is here to help you. NST is another with a good following. good luck. |

If you are comparing models before buying though, you are most likely going to see all hp numbers expressed as whp, or at least that's what I was looking at before I bought.

I'm sure you are right, I guess we must have getting info from different sources. For example, one place I looked was Toyota website, and 106hp is what they show under specs; actually, everything I looked at online had the same figures. Since this is the info I used to compare cars I just thought redduck might find it useful.
