motor oil drain plug washer
Has anyone purchased that plastic washer for the drain plug? How much does the dealer want? Does anyone know the size?
I should have taken out the calipers when I was doing my oil change and measured the washer... maybe I could get some replacements from a parts/hardware store for cheap. |

we were given them for free with TOYOTA oil filters we bought . Not sure of the price , maybe the dealer that you purchased the car from would give you 1 or more at no / low cost . Can't hurt to ask . GOOD LUCK

They're usually less than $0.20 at most autoparts, around $0.50 at my local Toyota dealer.

Those washers are aluminum with a blueish gray paper adhered to both sides.
I got 10 for $10 shipped on Ebay. I'd only use a dealer part here. Too "mission critical" at part to skimp on.... |

we were given those as well . There's 2 type . The plastic would be longer lasting .

I bet I could get some cheap aluminum washers from the hardware store. I guess I will have to measure the diameter of the thread next time.

It's Toyota part # 90430-12031. That's 10-pack.
