Mine only had to live a week with stock wiring, then it went to shielded 12 gauge and 60rms/channel

No need to spend a lot, these will play loud and clear, with good bass. I've got them in my HB front and rear.

You'll need to remove the stock plastic mount and add spacers.

I would like to spend less $160 unless you convince me that spending more will be worth the money in the sound.
I do know that an external Amp will be recommended and am open to suggestions for that as well to get the most out of my speakers.

The speakers will be going in when I do some sound deadening in the car so It should make for a huge difference hopefully.

Uber did you read the whole thread?
Cause I already ordered speakers and already had a set of speakers about like those and am no longer happy with them.

I Imagine that they are simply a replacement if you destroy a stock speaker for some reason

No, just putting out my findings, that one can get good sound for cheap.

I've got $4k. in my land cruiser system(all off Ebay), and it sounds fantastic!

But my <$300. Yaris system sounds 75% as good.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Good choice going with neo magnets, your windows will thank you.

Also, If you look at the back speaker holes, there's is room for a shallow mount 8" woofer on each side. You'll need to do a little fab work, but I measure it out, and it will fit.

I like Earthquake SWS, but there's a ton of shallows out there.

And if you put that 4k system into your Yaris, you'd be needing ear replacement surgery really quick.

Just looking at some sub packages, 4000 watts. I couldn't imagine surviving that much power in a Yaris.

Crunch, Autotek, Hifonics and Mb Quart are all the same company. I've used there stuff and would use it again without hesitation. But not everything they put out is great. I do research and go from there.

The Powerbass i posted will sound pretty damn good.

Others may say it's cheap bs. Set properly they'll do the job and not break the bank doing it.

Cadence is another good budget brand.

So is Crescendo. Look around on some of the audio forums and you'll see these brands.

My land cruiser system is only 900 watts RMS. and only consist of 8 speakers.

It's a SQ system, not an SPL.

I was going to say, if you ever want to troubleshoot with someone who knows something about sound, the current Sbring Break Nationals SQ champ in the Pro class lives in Henning. He also used to drive (and compete) with a Yaris.

If you want, I can get you two together.
