I assumed by the wording that if you were in thailand the price was 800 including installation

And the cost for the item was 500 plus shipping.

I will post back when I get the quote and ask them total price for the whole deal.

No, I think you're right. I does sound like $580.00 plus shipping. The decrease from $800.00 being that they don't do the installation. Looking forward to your quote. Thanks for doing this. It may become a popular mod.

Also this(400 Baht /kg...400baht is 16.80 CAD.

Are you estimating the weight of the kit or have they given you an estimate on the weight? At 30 kg, I'd be looking at $500.00 shipping, plus import charges, and tax (15% in my province). Not including import charges, I'd be looking at close to $1500.00 CAD.

Those are just quotes,or replys from an older reddit thread about shipping from thailand to US.

I use reddit quite a bit for good info.

Reddit is a wealth of info and help.

Its my favourite site in the way you can interact.

Its not like the normal forums.

name it and there is a subreddit/group for it.

They are slow to reply back,or the time difference aswell?

P.S dont ship it into Canada.

I use (crossborderpickups.com) Many other companies thar do the same.

I save huge on import duties.

I paid $60 cad total for 4X wheels into canada.

I also saved bigtime as the us company shipped free within us.

We do not have this model available for confirmation in Taiwan.
However, according to our experience,
no Yaris has reported installation problems in many countries so far.
Moreover, it is not a cost-effective thing for automakers to modify the brake structure of the same series of cars at will.

Sending 20 kg to the State by the TNT Express during this virus outbreak is US$180.
Our best offer is a 20% off discount plus shipping.
Total = (580 x 80%) + 180 = US$644 for all)

Hmm, that's not bad at all. Pretty tempting. Can you message me the email address of the person you were speaking with? Might make it easier. Going to find out shipping to Canada. Looking at the diagrams, it appears that it should work for our year/model car.

I am interested in how the valving is done so that the brakes aren't too strong in the rear. I'd expect that with calipers vs the tiny wheel cylinders, there'd be some changes in forces. Also, like with the big brake swaps, would we expect a mushier pedal? The guys that did the upgraded fronts from Yaris to xD or Corolla suggested that a larger diameter master cylinder might be needed.

It def looks to be well built.

Somewhere in the comments manufacturer mentioned no need for master cylinder upgrade,and it balances itself out properly.
